How lovely was the weekend? We reached a heady 9° - the sunshine a tonic for us all. I managed to miss most of it as Saturday was spent in the shop but from my window I could see the activity that brighter, warmer weather brings. Sunday was taken up with getting our new warehouse ready (more about this in my next blog).
I did fit in a quick walk in the beautiful Avenue of Oaks - so not all work!
I love Saturdays in the shop as it brings the most interesting people through the door. This Saturday one of my regular clients happened to mention that she was a member of The Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club (www.shotgunandchelseabunclub.co.uk) - a girls only clay shooting club. Not sure about the shooting as I don't think I would be very good at it but I love the idea that you are invited to bring a homemade cake which is judged as part of the day's score - a bit like the Great British Bake Off which I adore. Those who saw last month's Country Homes and Interiors will know that I'm partial to a slice of cake (and Champagne!)
